Long-read sequencing of extrachromosomal DNA of Escherichia coli exposed to amoxicillin-clavulanic acid

This study describes long-read sequencing data generated from Escherichia coli isolates exposed to clinically relevant amoxicillin-clavulanic acid concentration-time profiles. Long-read plasmid sequencing were performed to characterise TEM-1 structural dynamics associated with antibiotic exposure. Long-read PacBio HiFi sequencing was applied to resolve plasmid architectures and structural variants. These datasets support the investigation of resistance-associated genomic plasticity and provide a resource for studying the impact of pharmacokinetic environments on bacterial evolutionary trajectories.
