Podcast users likely to start paying for content in the U.S. 2020, by age group

Whilst most adults who had only ever accessed podcasts for free were unlikely to pay for one in the near future, younger adults were more willing than their older peers to consider doing so, with 26 percent of those aged 18-34 saying that they would consider making a financial contribution to listen to podcasts in the next year. By contrast, just 11 percent of adults over 55 said the same.
