Supporting data for "Towards Bite-Sized Learning: Personalized Recommendation of Region-of-Interest (ROI) in Lecture Videos"

This research proposes OneBite, a novel e-learning platform designed to address these challenges by delivering personalized, bite-sized fragments of long lecture videos. OneBite empowers learners to access targeted information efficiently, enhancing engagement and facilitating deeper understanding. Building upon our prior work in video fragment recommendation, OneBite employs advanced algorithms to curate personalized recommendations based on individual learning needs and preferences. Recognizing the pedagogical value of social media, OneBite features both traditional comments and Time Sync Comments (TSCs), fostering a dynamic learning community where learners can share insights and reflections in real-time, synchronized with specific moments within the video. OneBite is not intended to replace existing LMS platforms but rather to serve as a valuable supplementary tool, bridging the gap between formal and informal learning experiences and promoting a more engaging and effective learning journey.
