biofilm attached on biodegradable corncob carrier and non-biodegradable plastic filler after three months operation of agricultural runoff biological purification system, which had efficient nitrate and organics removal efficiencies. We focused on the microbial community differences between biofilm on corncob carrier and plastic filler, which could be further used to explore the different function of the two different carriers for nitrogen and organics removal.
