Gridded population structure projection for the Indus River Basin under Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSPs) from 2020 to 2100. The datasets consist of gridded population against different ages and genders at a resolution of 2.5 arc-minutes in the Indus River Basin covering 72°28′ to 79°39′ E and 29°8′ to 36°59′ N. This extensive dataset has 62,140 grids and 15 results files in .mat format accessible. Five files are devoted to the total population of each grid for all the years from 2020-2100, and 10 files are of the distribution of male and female population for each grid under SSP1-5.
