Operational taxonomic units of cox1 amplified from bulk community DNA samples in Takamigawa River, Nara, Japan

A total of 888 operational taxonomic units (OTUs) are obtained from raw sequence reads of cytochrome c oxidase subunit 1 gene (cox1) from riverine metagenomes sampled in Takamigawa River in Japan. The OTU sequences in FASTA format and an R script used for clustering OTUs are attached.
