VPRS 14745 Subject Index to VPRS 14744 Photographs and Photo Negatives, Sequentially Numbered

The Photographic Index is a control record for Photographs and Photo Negatives located in VPRS 14744. The index includes subject headings and numbers, being references to particular photographs and negatives. This record was originally in the form of a number of foolscap sheets in a two-ringed binder. Each folio is headed with a subject. Each folio is divided up into a number of squares. Each square is numbered to depict the number of a photo. The squares were designed to contain a small photograph each. However, in the passage of time most of those photos have come away from their pages.
