This project contains genomic sequence, assembly and annotation data for cactophilic Drosophila. Data types include Illumina short reads and PacBio long reads. The chromosome-level assemblies contain annotations based on multi-tissue and tissue-specific RNAseq. Assembly, annotation and expression data, in addition to ecological and evolutionary data, as well as practical information on how to work with cactophilic Drosophila can be found in the cactusflybase site (https://cactusflybase.arizona.edu/).
