This dataset contains microscopic cross-sections of soybean (SOY ACASSA C1) roots collected at the end of a 3-month pot experiment investigating the effects of phosphorus fertilization on plant growth, photosynthetic performance, and yield. Plants were exposed for three months to different struvite application rates (0–20 g kg⁻¹ soil) and reference KH₂PO₄ fertilization levels (1 and 8 g kg⁻¹ soil). Root cross-sections were prepared after the experimental period to assess anatomical responses resulting from prolonged exposure to different phosphorus sources and dosages. Microscopic observations were performed using a Delta Optical Generic Pro microscope equipped with a 3 MP camera (Delta Optical, Poland), integrated with DLTCamViewer software. The dataset provides anatomical evidence supporting the evaluation of nutrient uptake and root structural adaptation to alternative phosphorus fertilizers.
