The Prothonotary oversees the administrative aspects of actions and appeals coming within the jurisdiction of the Supreme Court. This officer is responsible for the issue of writs and processes and for the filing of documents and for the custody of Supreme Court records.This series consists of copies of correspondence despatched by the Prothonotary in the discharge of these responsibilities. Correspondence is addressed to persons involved with actions and cases before the Supreme Court, to legal representatives, to officials of other Courts regarding matters being appealed to the Supreme Court and in response to requests for copies of documents lodged with or filed at the Court.
