Dataset: Remote sensing assessment of wildfire severity and early vegetation recovery in a Mediterranean mountain landscape (northwestern Spain)

This dataset contains the raw data and results related to the study “Remote sensing assessment of the severity of forest fires and early vegetation recovery in a Mediterranean mountain landscape (northwest Spain).” It includes remote sensing images, derived spectral indices, fire severity metrics, and vegetation recovery indicators obtained through the analysis of multitemporal satellite data over a Mediterranean mountainous landscape in northwestern Spain. The data were used to assess the severity of the fire that occurred in 2022 in Montes de Valdueza and to monitor early vegetation regeneration patterns following the fires throughout the study area.
