From the perspective of evolution, the even fins of fish and the limbs of tetrapods are homologous organs, and the mechanism of their development regulation is relatively clear. Odd fins of fish are the ancestors of even fins, and their developmental regulation pattern is similar to that of even fins. However, there are few detailed studies on the formation and development mechanism of odd fins. In this study, we compared the development of the dorsal fin of zebrafish with wild-type and dorsal fin-deficient mutant Eomesafh105. We sequenced the transcripts of the mutant and wild-type at three different developmental stages.
