This shapefile delineates historic creek lines digitised from the 1855 map Melbourne and its Suburbs" compiled by James Kearney, draughtsman ; engraved by David Tulloch and James D. Brown. http://handle.slv.vic.gov.au/10381/89107. The Elizabeth Street, Swanston Street and Fitzroy Garden creek alignments are included based on descriptions in: \r\n \r\n 1. Presland, Gary. 2009.
