资源简介:
Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN) hosting superrelativistic jets are among theprime candidates for hadronic accelerators, i.e. the sites where photons, neutrinos and cosmic rays are produced. In September last year, blazar TXS 0506+056, was detected in an enhanced gammaray emission state incoincidence with a very high energy (300 TeV) neutrino event from IceCube, IC170922A. We propose regular MWL monitoring of TXS 0506+056 (50 h). Zenith angles below 35 deg and dark nights are preferable due to soft spectrum and redshift z0.34 of the source. We plan to ask for simultaneous XMM, NuSTAR and Swift coverage. truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
