Replication data for: National Party Systems

The present dataset contains data on lower chamber national elections in 38 democratic countries circa 1992. The unit of observation is the country. The dataset includes the following information: three different measures of the level of party system nationalization, institutional elements such as electoral systems, the level decentralization, and the type of executive, and the presence of minorities and particularly whether they are concentrated in specific regions within countries.
