资源简介:
In our study, our objective is to elucidate the regulatory mechanisms of subcutaneous fat in the offspring resulting from crosses between Huainan pigs and the lean-type pigs, namely Yorkshire, Landrace, and Berkshire. We aim to identify key genes that have the potential to influence subcutaneous fat thickness using RNA-seq technology. Subsequently, we found that LIPG, PLIN2, CPT1A, KLF9, CCND1, LDLR, ACSL1, ACLY, and ANGPTL4 are differentially expressed in the subcutaneous fat tissue of Huainan × Berkshire pigs (BH), Huainan × Yorkshire pigs (YH), and Huainan × Landrace pigs (LH). Among these groups, LH exhibits a stronger subcutaneous fat deposition ability compared to the other two, whereas YH has the lowest fat deposition ability. This study represents the first exploration of differences in subcutaneous fat tissue between Huainan pigs and the aforementioned lean-type pigs, providing valuable resources and a foundation for the further development and utilization of Huainan pigs.
