Effects of exosomes derived from mice endothelial progenitor cells (EPCs-exo) on mice fibroblast following inducement of dexamethasone

This study sought to explore the specific effects of EPCs-exos on steroid induced osteoporosis in mice, and figuring out its regulation pattern of whole transcriptomes in osteoblasts attempting to verify the role of ferroptotic pathways during steroid hormone and EPCs-exo intervention. Overall design: EPCs were derived from mice bone marrow and the secreted exosomes were extracted. Mice fibroblasts were cultivated to appropriate amount and divided into two experimental groups receiving 10µM dexamethasone alone and combination of dexamethasone and 100µg EPCs-exo respectively for 48 hours. Then total RNA of cells in all groups were extracted and conducted all transcriptome sequencing. The results were subsequently conducted bioinformatic analysis.
