Frequency at which French Muslims buy halal meat in 2020, by gender

Islam, like many religions, provides some life rules for its followers. According to these, some activities are deemed "halal," the Arabic term for "permissible," and some are seen as "haram," meaning "forbidden" in English. These two words are also often used when talking about Islamic dietary rules. Over 70 percent of Muslim women state that they systematically purchase halal meat, while 60 percent of Muslim men declare doing the same.
