This dataset contains 775 synthetic transcripts of conversations between a counsellor and a young person in Ghana, rendered in Ewe. Each transcript was generated as synthetic data using a large language model prompted with excerpts from the UNICEF training module. The conversations explore topics related to adolescence, sexual and reproductive health, gender, and sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV). The dataset is intended for fine-tuning or evaluating language models for counselling dialogue in Ewe, research on adolescent health communication in West African / Ghanaian contexts, and studying synthetic data generation from health education materials for low-resource languages.
