In Situ Ichthyoplankton Imaging System (ISIIS) classified images from 3 profiles and image histogram statistics Fall 2015

These data were collected with the In Situ Ichtyoplankton Imaging System (ISIIS) to describe the distribution of organisms and particles along a meridional transect starting at the 20 m isobath near the mouth of Mobile Bay and extending offshore to the 40 m isobath. We performed this transect on 3 days (October 29-November 1, 2015) and used image histogram statistics to describe the concentration of marine snow particles within the images. A subset of these images (3 tow-yo profiles with the ISIIS) were segmented and classified to nearest taxonomic category. The nearest environmental data is displayed with each particle identification.
