Country-level OECD patient-safety indicators and health-workforce density: dataset and analysis code

Public, aggregated, country-level OECD data and the analysis code for an ecological, cross-sectional study relating health-workforce density (practising nurses, physicians, hospital beds) to six OECD patient-safety indicators across OECD countries, together with a linked-versus-unlinked measurement-comparability analysis.

The archive contains the raw OECD SDMX extracts, the assembled country-level dataset (country_level.csv), the computed statistics (analysis_results.json: Pearson and Spearman correlations, bias-corrected bootstrap 95% confidence intervals, permutation p-values, leave-one-out jackknife, within-country method-comparison ratios, and a partial correlation), and the Python code that reproduces everything from the raw files. No individual-level data are included.

Data source: OECD, retrieved via the SDMX data portal (Health Care Quality and Outcomes patient-safety indicators; Health Statistics for nurses, physicians and hospital beds), most recent observation from 2015 onwards per country.
