Helenos is a comprehensive and sophisticated benchmark specifically designed for distributed transactional memory (TM), based on the Facebook Inbox scenario and the Cassandra distributed storage system. This dataset aims to simulate synchronization tasks in large-scale distributed systems, addressing the limitations of existing TM benchmarks in distributed environments. Helenos implements Cassandra's data model and search procedures to provide a realistic application scenario for evaluating the performance and scalability of distributed TM systems. By adjusting parameters including the number of network nodes and remote objects (buckets) to control contention and transaction characteristics, the dataset enables in-depth performance evaluation of TM systems.
