Environmental DNA metabarcoding analysis of Leptospira and broad bacteria in Babeldaob Island, the Republic of Palau

Metabarcoding sequencing analysis of river water samples focusing on leptospiral 16S rRNA gene and broad bacterial 16S rRNA gene V4 region. Four locations (Ngardmau waterfall, Ngardok lake, Ngatpan waterfall, and Ngchesar waterfall) of the Babeldaob Island were analyzed as the known or potential Leptospira-endemic area in the Republic of Palau.
