ES Eelgrass 2021

Eelgrass in Elkhorn Slough was delineated using heads-up digitizing in ArcGIS v.10.5. UAV imagery flown in July 2021 was used as the base layer for digitizing the polygons. Google Earth imagery from 2021 was also used in areas where the UAV imagery did not exist. Additionally, multibeam bathymetric data collected in 2011 was used for drawing polygons in the central portion of the main channel just east of Hwy 1. The scale of interpretation was approximately 1/100. The dataset was not groundtruthed.
