A previous study has identified H3K36me3 as an important regulator of Mismatch Repair (MMR) in vivo by recruiting mismatch recognition protein MutSa to the chromatin. In this study, we want to demonstrate the genome-wide interaction between H3K36me3 and MutSa, and how this interaction influence local mutation frequency during DNA replication and transcription processes.
