资源简介:
This file contains the data that are used to produce results and plots in this research. These data are used to construct gamma spectra measured by a simulated detector outside of the containment vessel where the test was conducted. The folder "isotopic_data" contains isotopic composition of the debris and the vessel at multiple time points after the test. These compositions are provided for various values of test parameters such as alpha_m (the maximum value of the prompt neutron decay constant), n_0 (the initial number of fission per kg of plutonium-239), and t_i (the incubation time), categorized in that order within the folder levels. This data has been generated using neutronics and isotopic simulations with the code OpenMC and ONIX. The folder "detector_signal_data" contains pre-computed gamma spectra measured by the simulated detector per mol of each relevant nuclide. For instance, the file "detector_Cs-137_pit.py" contains the gamma spectrum that would be measured if the debris inside the vessel only contained one mol of Cs-237 in addition to the plutonium metal and beryllium. To produce this data we first use OpenMC to transport gamma emissions within the vessel to compute the current just outside the vessel's surface. Then, from this current, we transported the emissions toward the gamma detector to produce a nuclide-specific gamma response in the detector. In order to generate overall gamma spectra from a given isotopic composition in the debris, our code conducts a linear combination of the nuclide-specific spectra weighted by the actual moles of each nuclide as computed in the isotopic_data files.
