Number of postgraduate students in Ghana 2019, by type of institution

In 2019, out of 27,628 postgraduate enrollments in Ghana, 24,564 were in public tertiary education institutions, which was the highest number compared to private tertiary universities registering only 3,064 postgraduate students. Furthermore, as of the same year, most postgraduate students in the country pursued a Masters degree.
