Optimization of interneuron function by direct coupling of cell migration and axonal targeting

We compared transcripts from somatostatinpositive inteneruons in the migrating marginal zone and subventricle zone at embryonic stage E17.5 Overall design: E17.5 cortex from SST-cre;Ai9 mice were dissected and the migratory streams were separated by horizontal section. Cells in sections representing marginal zone or subventricle zone were purified by FACS. Reporter positive cells were collected and RNA were extracted for RNAseq.
