Population Genetic Divergence and Environment Influence the Gut Microbiome in Oregon Threespine Stickleback

The goal of this published work was to analyze the extent to which population genetic divergence and environment in which an organism lives influence the microbiome of the gut. In this study we used a fish model, three spine stickleback, located in freshwater and estuarine habitats collected along the coast and the Willamette Basin, Oregon, USA.
