Eedi Dataset

The Eedi dataset contains student responses to Eedi mathematics problems across two academic years (September 2018 to May 2020). Eedi is a leading educational platform that engages with millions of students globally every day. It provides diagnostic multiple-choice questions for students aged approximately 7 to 18, covering primary to high school levels. Each diagnostic question features four possible answer options, with exactly one correct choice. Currently, the platform primarily focuses on mathematics-related questions. The dataset is split into four distinct tasks: Tasks 1 and 2 address answer prediction, Task 3 focuses on predicting question quality, and Task 4 covers question recommendation. The total number of answer records across the training sets of these tasks exceeds 17 million, making it one of the largest educational datasets to date. We also provide comprehensive metadata related to questions, students, and their answer records.
