Dataset CNS scores (guided/unguided/control, Santiago, Chile).

This dataset contains anonymized responses from university students who participated in an experimental study on nature immersion practices in urban green spaces in Santiago, Chile. It includes scores from the Connectedness to Nature Scale (CNS), measured across three treatment groups and three time points to evaluate the role of guided facilitation in enhancing connection with nature.

Dataset structure:

Treatment: group of the participant, coded as:
CG = Guided immersion (with facilitator)
SG = Unguided immersion (without facilitator)
C = Control (no immersion practice)
CNS_score: Participant’s score on the Connectedness to Nature Scale.

Time: measurement point, coded as:
T1 = Baseline (before intervention)
T2 = Post-intervention (after the immersion period)
T3 = Follow-up (retention period)

Repetition: Internal participant code (anonymized identifier)

In addition, an R script is included, which contains the code used to organize, clean, and analyze the dataset.

Notes:
No personally identifiable information is included.
Data are presented in CSV format (UTF-8).

Ethics
The study was approved by the Ethics and Safety Committee of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. All participants gave informed consent, and the dataset has been fully anonymized.
