Supplementary Tables for publication entitled Effect of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs on the inflammatory responses of bovine endometrial epithelial cells in vitro. Supplementary Table 1 - List of genes analyzed by Nanostring (Nanostring technologies Inc) in the cell culture model. Supplementary Table 2 - Normalized counts of genes expressed by bovine endometrial epithelial (bEEL) cells that meet the expression threshold for inclusion in statistical analysis (greater than background gene expression). Untreated bEEL cells (RPMI media + 0.1% DMSO) were used as a control (Control) and treatments included NSAID; flunixin meglumine (Flunixin; 50 μM), meloxicam (5 μM), tolfenamic acid (50 μM), either alone or in combination with an inflammation cocktail (Inflamed; (lipopolysaccharide, 1 μg/mL, bovine interleukin-1β, 10 ng/mL, and bovine tumour necrosis factor α, 50 ng/mL). Expression data was normalized using nSovlver software version 4.0 using the geometric mean of counts for the reference genes ACTB, B2M, GAPDH, RLRP10, RPL13A, RPL15, RPL19, UXT, and YWHAZ. Means are presented with standard error of the means (SEM), significance was determined as P < 0.05, permutation ANOVA with post-hoc Benjamini-Hochberg testing (significance groupings, whereby like letters are not signficant P > 0.05), R version 4.0.2.
