Drinking water quality compliance in Northern Ireland 2022, by parameter

Northern Ireland had an overall high drinking water quality in 2022, with all the parameters analyzed nearing 100 percent compliance. Nonetheless, when comparing the site of sampling, the results are slightly different. Around 99.94 percent of samples taken from water leaving the treatment plants complied with the parameters in 2022, while water taken at the consumers taps or supply points reported slightly lower results, at 99.88 of compliance.
