The Evolution of Galaxies in Groups

We propose to observe two fields from the CNOC2 redshift survey to study theevolution of galaxies in groups. The proposed observations will allow typicalXray groups to be discovered out to z0.8. The unique aspect of our program isthat we have already identified a large sample of opticallyselected groups inthese fields over the same redshift interval.
