A Transport‑Based Derivation of Soil‑Moisture Stress from Soil–Root Water Supply Capacity
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the manuscript: "Transport-Based Soil Moisture Stress from Soil–Root Water Transport" The repository contains data and code used to derive and evaluate a physically based soil-moisture stress function. The formulation links transpiration to the capacity of the soil–root system to supply water, accounting for both liquid and vapour-phase transport. Contents include: - Soil moisture stress curves for transport-based, FAO, and land-surface model formulations - Root water uptake under varying atmospheric demand (moderate and dry conditions) - Sensitivity analysis results - Decomposition of transport into liquid and vapour contributions - Python scripts for reproducing all results and figures The dataset enables reproduction of all key results presented in the manuscript, including stress functions, model comparisons, and response to atmospheric demand. The model provides a physically grounded representation of soil-moisture stress and can be integrated into hydrological and land-surface modelling frameworks.
