Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion IR (HIR) is an unavoidable pathophysiological process during liver transplantation, resulting in systematic sterile inflammation and remote organ injury. Acute lung injury (ALI) is a serious complication after liver transplantation with high postoperative morbidity and mortality. However, the underlying mechanism is still unclear.
