Water dependent products as % exports

It refers to the share of exports in sectors that are considered heavily water-dependent, such as agriculture, forestry, inland fishing and aquaculture; 'live animals' products;  mining and resource extraction; mining, chemical and general industry processes; water supply and sanitation; power generation; manufacturing of food, pharmaceutical; and health care. Water uses/consumption in various of the production or extraction stages of the products were reviewed; as well as sectorial documents, papers, reports or overall general info about whether water is relevant in those processes. These results are based on a preliminar diagnostic and in various cases, the real extent of water use and relevance is determined by the technology used.
