THE ROLE AND IMPORTANCE OF THE WHISTLE-BLOWING MECHANISM IN COMBATING CORRUPTION

This thesis highlights the role and practical significance of the whistle-blowing mechanism in the fight against corruption, in particular, the historical evolution of this institution, its effectiveness in uncovering latent crimes, and the specific features of its implementation into national legislation based on international standards. Furthermore, a comparative legal analysis of the guarantees for the legal, social, and economic protection of whistleblowers has been conducted, and scientifically based proposals for the further improvement of this system in Uzbekistan have been put forward.
