16s rRNA sequencing of fecal microbiota associated with Type 2 Diabetes patients infected with Helicobacter pylori

It is well known that Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) alters the gastrointestinal microbiome. However, it is unclear whether the intestinal microbiota after H. pylori infection may contributes to the progression of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). This study aims to investigate the characteristics of the gut microbiota T2DM patients after H. pylori infection and the potential link between the gut microbiota and glycemic levels.
