Area of Interest (AOI) Sampling Grid for Suburban Land Cover Validation Study (CSV + GeoJSON)

This dataset contains the spatial sampling framework used in a suburban land-cover validation study conducted in Westchester County, New York. The files define a structured area of interest (AOI) consisting of a 6×6 grid of sampling points generated around a central coordinate. These locations were used to align satellite datasets, guide ground data, and ensure consistent spatial analysis across multiple remote sensing products. The CSV file provides the latitude and longitude coordinates for each sampling point, enabling straightforward reuse in mapping platforms, spreadsheets, and remote sensing tools. The GeoJSON file provides a GIS-compatible representation of the same sampling framework, allowing direct integration with geographic information systems and web-based mapping environments. Together, these files support reproducibility of the study’s spatial design and allow reuse for other applications.
