Biosphere 2 Landscape Evolution Observatory 2016 PERTH Experiment - Virtual Reality (apk)

This resource provides the virtual reality (VR) application (APK) for immersive visualization of groundwater-table dynamics measured during the 2016 PERiodic Tracer Hierarchy (PERTH) experiment at the Landscape Evolution Observatory (LEO), Biosphere 2. The application renders the temporal evolution of the saturated zone across two replicated hillslopes using pressure-transducer measurements interpolated into animated three-dimensional volume representations. Users wearing a head-mounted display can explore the hillslope groundwater dynamics at true spatial scale with head-tracked navigation and interactive temporal control.
