DOM dataset in thermokarst lakes on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau

Plateau-wide upscaling reveals characteristics, spatial patterns, and controlling mechanisms of dissolved organic matter in thermokarst lakes on the Qinghai–Tibet Plateau Yafei Hou1, 2, Zhiqiang Wei1*, Zongyi Jin2, Lei Wang3, Zhiheng Du4, Hao Cui5, Qian Xu6, Haipeng Feng7, Cunde Xiao8, 9* This dataset is provided as an Excel (.xlsx) file containing machine learning-derived DOM characteristics and microbial community composition data from thermokarst lakes across the Tibetan Plateau. The file consists of five sheets. Sheet 1 contains predicted DOM parameters for all thermokarst lakes across the Tibetan Plateau, including DOC concentration, a350, SUVA254, S275–295, SR, FreI, BIX, and HIX. Sheet 2 provides basic information of microbial sampling sites, including latitude, longitude, sampling date, and vegetation type. Sheets 3–5 contain the relative abundance of archaeal, bacterial, and fungal communities, respectively, with taxonomic information at both phylum and genus levels.
