The sample was composed of 17 (18.3 – 24.09 years) healthy elite soccer players (age=20.6±1.5 years, weight=69.3±7.1 kg, height=177.5±5.1 cm) of the second division of the Spanish football league during the 2013-2014 season. All players belonged to the same soccer team. Informed consent was obtained from all participants in accordance with the Declaration of Helskinki; The study was approved by the Ethics Committee of the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). Weight and height were measured with the players barefoot in club attire.
