资源简介:
In this study we would like to perform, basic bacterial community structure analysis of 16S rRNA based on faecal sample. This analysis is performed for small population of the Svalbard reindeer from Hornsund fjord (10 individuals), which is almost uninhabited by humans. In most of performed studies, samples for bacterial taxonomic identification are taken from rumen, which often implicates the death of the animal or at least a very stressful situation. That kind of practice during sampling provide trucking changes over time e.g. accordingly to seasonal food changes or ecological changes, it often makes experiment more expensive, time consuming, and uncomfortable for subject of studies. It also interferes in natural animal environment especially when thinking about natural populations, almost untouched by humans. In such situations, testing faecal samples can be a good solution, that kind of approach is non-invasive and provides low level of interference in natural populations.
