Clonorchiasis, caused by Clonorchis sinensis, is a significant public health issue in China and East Asia. However, the understanding of the pathological mechanisms underlying this disease remains limited. The C. sinensis extracellular vesicles (EVs) play an important role during the infection. When the liver is damaged, Kupffer cells are the first to respond with an immune response, and KCs play a crucial role in maintaining liver immune homeostasis, especially during pathogen infection. To explore the differential expressed genes in Kupffer cells situmlated with C.sinensis EVs may provide key data for the pathology of clonorchiasis and may offer new targets for treatment.
