New business registrations in Russia 2017-2023

Over 218,000 new enterprises were established in Russia in 2023. Over the period from 2017 to 2020, the number of new businesses registered annually in the country gradually decreased. The number of new businesses was lower than the number of businesses closed, which stood at approximately 238,000 in 2023.
