MaineDMR Public Health - Biotoxin Area Boundaries

This layer depicts generalized biotoxin area boundaries. Maine Department of Marine Resources (DMR) divides the Maine coast into designated biotoxin areas to support management; however, individual biotoxin closures may not follow these area boundaries and may encompass all or only part of one or more areas. This layer is not a legal representation of current closures boundaries and should not be used to determine whether an area is open or closed to harvest.
