Hurricane Maria (2017) Simulation.

Output of ADCIRC+SWAN forecasts for Hurricane Maria 2017. Hurricane Maria struck Puerto Rico and threatened the U.S. coast in 2017. In this project, we show results from storm surge forecasts for Hurricane Maria based on the ADCIRC Surge Guidance System framework. These forecasts take data from the National Hurricane Center wind advisories, and generate storm surge predictions every 6 hours. In this project, we show the wind inputs used by the model and the computed maximum water levels for several of the advisories.
