Big Data Analysis Platform for Farmland Carbon Ecology and Carbon Sink collects and analyzes a series of data including crop varieties planted in different regions, arable soil area, carbon emission data and carbon sequestration data generated by agricultural machinery activities via big data technologies. It calculates agricultural carbon sink value through models, providing data support for achieving agricultural dual carbon goals and generating higher benefits, with core functional modules covering agricultural carbon sequestration analysis, carbon emission analysis, net carbon sink analysis and carbon ecological footprint analysis.
The platform calculates the total carbon emissions and total carbon sequestration of farmland ecosystems across China via big data technologies and algorithmic models, covering indicators such as farmland carbon absorption capacity, soil carbon sequestration, farmland input carbon emissions and carbon released via soil respiration. It builds big data systems for national and regional farmland carbon ecosystems, and meanwhile constructs a national and regional one-map platform for the agricultural dual carbon command center to provide auxiliary decision-making support for agricultural dual carbon goals.
This product acts as a reliable metric and decision-making support center for local government departments to obtain real-time insights into local agricultural farmland carbon ecology. It integrates national carbon trading price data and World Bank carbon trading price data, calculates the economic value of farmland carbon sinks at national and local levels, and provides data reference support and decision-making services for the economic development and trading of farmland carbon sinks across all provinces, cities and counties in China.
The product's dataset covers analysis results of indicators including farmland carbon emissions, carbon sequestration, agricultural production carbon emissions, net carbon sink, carbon sink economic value and carbon footprint for all provinces in China from 2020 to 2023.
