资源简介:
the Pliocene is unconformably deposited with the Chattien-Aquitanian and begins with a warm climate coinciding with a major transgression during the entire Lower Pliocene. During the Upper Pliocene, the climate gradually cooled. Deposits are initially circalittoral and deep infralittoral, becoming shallower infralittoral in the Upper Pliocene. Towards the end of the Pliocene, under the influence of the orogenic phase, the sedimentary environments became shallower infralittoral in the west, particularly in the Tildi-El Mhasseur transect, and continental from the Ighzer n'Kourir valley in the east. The end of the Pliocene is marked by the deposition of a Moghrebian facies in the west (Tildi), which rapidly disappears under the action of major tectonic activity, leaving Quaternary facies that must be related to the Upper Moghrebian. These facies are well marked to the east and west. Especially by the alluvial cones at Ighzer N'kourir.
